On Saturday, June 18th, 55 classmates and 22 guests who had registered for the party gathered at the Lost Spur Event Center in Egan to celebrate our 75th birthday year. People traveled from Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin in addition to Minnesota to attend. Following a social and refreshment hour we enjoyed a sit-down dinner along with background music provided by Larrie, Rennerfeldt, Bill Wangensteen and Jim Rummel.

Class President Rolf Svendsen introduced the Reunion Committee, mentioned a few words about the plans for our 60-year reunion in 2019, as well as recent Class Scholarship activity. All the committee members received many thank you comments and complements from attendees about holding this event and what an enjoyable time they had reconnecting with their classmates. Many attendees from out of town were able to stay with local classmates to extend their opportunity to visit. And review old memories.

The reunion committee enjoyed setting up this event and being part of such a terrific group of friends. It was well worth the effort to plan and to attend.
